Please join us in hosting esteemed Professor and Chair of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology at UCONN Health, Dr. Alan Lurie. Dr. Lurie will be speaking to us about the recent updates to the Patient/Provider Radiology Shielding Guidelines from the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology.

Dr. Lurie was an author on the paper/study from the AAOMFR that helped bring about the evidence behind these guidelines. Dr. Lurie will be helping us to understand the science and reasoning behind these updated guidelines and share knowledge on how we can educate our patients on them. This topic impacts all of us, we all take radiographs! And if you didn't know the radiology guidelines had been updated, all the more reason to come and learn!
